WHAT IS AWS?  

AWS(Amazon web services) has significantly more services, and more features within those services, than any other cloud provider–from infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and databases to emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things. This makes it faster, easier, and more cost effective to move your existing applications to the cloud and build nearly anything you can imagine.

What is Cloud Computing?



Cloud computing is a term referred to storing and accessing data over the internet. It doesn’t store any data on the hard disk of your personal computer. In cloud computing, you can access data from a remote server.

Cloud computing is the future of smart businesses that want to grow fast as they focus on their core competences while outsourcing the stuff they are not good at (the core competences of other businesses) to the best companies for the job! This is the model that some of the fastest growing companies in the world are taking; Netflix, Reddit, Pinterest and many others!




There are three ways to  Launch an operating system :-

~ Purpose of OS is to run a app or a program.

~ First Way is Bare metal - Normal and regularly used  laptops or computers
   where Hard disk is used for launching O.S.

~In Bare Metal limitation is we can run only one O.S at a time.

~To solve Bare Metal Limitation , Virtualization was created. Which is the second       way

~ Using virtualization we can Boot/launch multiple O.S.



~ Any OS launched on hyperwisor are known as Guest OS.

~Third way of launching OS is called containerisation.

~Using Containers it take time in seconds.

~Conatiners help company to be agile & fast.

~ Docker is most famous Container tool.


~ Some companies provide a web UI  to help us launch O.S which allows us to save money and Requirement  of learning technologies.

EC2 INSTANCE




 An Amazon EC2 instance is a virtual server in Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) for running applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. AWS is a comprehensive, evolving cloud computing platform; EC2 is a service that enables business subscribers to run application programs in the computing environment. It can serve as a practically unlimited set of virtual machines (VMs). Amazon provides various types of instances with different configurations of CPU, memory, storage and networking resources to suit user needs. Each type is available in various sizes to address specific workload requirements.

Steps to LaunchEC2
1. Give O.S a name
2.Select O.S - Window/Linux/MacOS
3.Select Instance Type - Configuration
4.Select Key Pair - Key to login/SSH to server
5.Network Settings - Select firewall
6.Select Storage/Hard Disk.

Conclusion

Cloud computing is recently new technological development that has the potential to have a great impact on the world. It has many benefits that it provides to it users and businesses. For example, some of the benefits that it provides to businesses, is that it reduces operating cost by spending less on maintenance and software upgrades and focus more on the businesses itself. there are no standards or regulations worldwide provided data through cloud computing. Users also worry about who can disclose their data and have ownership of their data. But once, there are standards and regulation worldwide, cloud computing will revolutionize the future.
